What do you think of the proposed Mandatory Condom Use for Porn Stars?

Who's Positive wants to know what you think? Anyone against this? Do you think they have the right to have unprotected sex? How might this change the porn industry?

ChristopherI don't think that the government should be telling people that they have to wear condoms..What will be next, how do screw in what position? Not meant to be a joke because i'm serious..These people are grown ups and they know the risks...

Janice UrbsaitisBirth control has been regulated for years by the government. It is tantamount to having a member of Congress in bed with you laying between you. This threesome may work for Saturday Night Live! but it has never worked for loving couples in real life, Applying a condom in a video as a prelude may make it easier for some couples to incorporate that into their couplings but I'm betting it would be dubbed in by a stand in not actually used in real life scenes.

nate klarfeldYou can't do a film with an animal in it without proving that the animal wasn't harmed and in many cases must have a member of Animal Control or the Humane Society on the premises while filming. So you are telling me that adult film actors should have less protection than a dog?...

I live in Florida and we have seen an explosive growth of the adult film production industry moving here from California to avoid new condom rules. Putting young men who may or may not understand the risks in this kind of jeopardy would not be tolerated at an industrial plant, food service, or even an amusement park.

Tully FitzsimmonsI think it will be just as effective as outlawing porn, gambling, smoking, pot, and alcohol. In other words: we know that Prohibition has never, does not, and will never work. Where there is a market for a service, a market will exist regardless of of the law. Frankly, I don't need or want the Government Directing Porn Flicks, criminalizing disease, or playing Puritan Papa. I'm against it 100%.

Bruceyou know, if it was mandated, good luck with compliance. but bare backers are selfish and plain stupid. the only way to rid the universe of hiv is to not spread it. If you want to be irresponsible I have no sympathy for you or the porn industry (and I like to watch porn)
