Well July 28th I had my hysterectomy. There was a bit of a complication though turns out I had a lot of scarring in there and a hernia as well. Apparently the hernia incorporated a lot of the scar tissue and was what was causing some other issues I was experiencing that we couldn't figure out. My doctor removed the hernia while he was in there doing my hysterectomy. That meant that I was under anesthesia longer than my doctor wanted or planned for me to be. The pain has been horrible!! I have a very high threshold for pain and I was crying because it hurt so badly. I had my staples removed a week after surgery and then my steri-strips lasted a week after that. I know I still have a bit to go before I'm totally healed (6-8 weeks total after the surgery to recover) I am feeling so much better than I was.

I got my counts the week before surgery and they were great. My t-cells were in the high 400's and I am still undetectable in my viral load. Every thing else is also great so I'm doing well.

This next week school starts back for my munchkin. She is very excited about it. I really love that she loves school and I hope she stays that way for a long long time. She will be a 1st grader this year which is hard for me to believe. Seems like just yesterday I was bringing her home from the hospital and now she's almost 7 years old she's growing up way too fast for me.
